THE FUTURE OF BANDS IS HERE.
In collaboration with the UCF Jammin' Knights and UCF Athletics, I led the design initiative for their latest jerseys, tailored for their performances at UCF basketball games. These jerseys now stand as the official uniform for the University's inaugural year in the esteemed Big 12 conference.  I set to design a jersey that not only amplifies the spirit of UCF but also elevates the band's presence during basketball games. This project highlights my ability to seamlessly integrate brand guidelines and functionality, delivering a standout representation for UCF's entry into the Big 12 conference and ensuring the band's dynamic presence in Addition Financial Arena.

THE
CONCEPT:
While the fit of the jerseys was going to be a "hockey style" cut, I wanted to take inspiration from soccer jerseys, as well as UCF's basketball team uniforms. I chose the number "63" dedicated to the school's founding year, 1963. The athletics logo featuring Knightro had to be included, but I also decided to add the Pegasus, typically reserved for academic purposes, as a reminder that while the band is spirited- they are also scholarly. I chose to use the Pegasus Star motif to add more detail to the arms, tying it all together.
