ZOO TAMPA Rebrand
REIMAGINE THE ZOO EXPERIENCE.
This concept of a Zoo Tampa rebrand is a celebration of the rich culture and diversity of Tampa. I embarked on this project with the goal of creating a visual identity that truly reflected the heart and soul of the city, while also highlighting the zoo’s commitment to conservation and education. The result is a vibrant, playful, and dynamic brand that showcases the best of both worlds. The new branding also includes a revamped logo that features a playful, stylized animal footprint that changes based on what section of the park you’re in. While only a concept, the new brand is a true reflection of Tampa’s culture and values, and I am thrilled with the end result!
TAMPA CULTURE
The first step in the rebrand was to identify key elements of Tampa’s culture and heritage. This included exploring the city’s unique architecture, food, music, and art. From there, I incorporated these elements into the brand through bold, bright colors, playful graphics, and typography that captures the fun and energetic vibe of the city. To highlight the zoo’s focus on conservation and education, I created messaging that emphasizes the importance of protecting wildlife and the environment.
